Using Trace

Trace is a beta product. By connecting a running app (Strava or intervals.icu) and using Trace, you agree that the service is provided as-is with no guarantees of accuracy or uptime. Coverage calculations are approximate and may not reflect every street you have run. The same applies to the third-party services Trace relies on, including Strava and intervals.icu: to the fullest extent the law allows, Trace disclaims on their behalf all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and neither Trace nor those third-party services will be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Trace.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your Strava or intervals.icu account secure. Trace supports one connected running app per account at a time. Do not share your Trace profile access with others.

Data from your running app

Trace uses the Strava and intervals.icu APIs. Your use of Strava data through Trace is subject to Strava's Terms of Service. Your use of intervals.icu data through Trace is subject to intervals.icu's own terms. Trace only reads your activities from intervals.icu; it never writes to your account.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to manipulate coverage data, use automated tools to artificially inflate your stats, or reverse-engineer other users' GPS routes.
